A rubbish fire outside an Eagle Rock four-plex spread through one unit and into an attic Monday.

The fire was reported at 5:32 p.m. Monday at 4750 N. Vincent Ave., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.

“Crews coordinated interior and roof operations, attacking the fire while preserving as much property as possible,” Lantz said. “Knockdown confirmed at 6:13 p.m.”

The occupants of the unit that burned got out without injury and the fire did not extend to others, she said.
