BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As September begins, spooky season is officially here, and one unique way to celebrate is a haunted tour of Western Kentucky University’s campus.

Dr. Tamela Smith, a paranormal researcher, has been investigating some of the campus’s mysteries, like a construction worker haunting Van Meter Hall, or a professor roaming Cherry Hall.

The tours focus on the top of the hill, exploring not if WKU is haunted, but why.

Dr. Smith also shared stories about the bridge behind Van Meter Hall and its connection to the Civil War.
