Graham Greene, the Oscar-nominated Canadian actor known for his roles in “Dances with Wolves,” “Maverick” and “The Green Mile,” died Sept. 1 in Stratford, Ontario. He was 73.

His agent Gerry Jordan announced the death in a statement, which did not cite a cause.
