ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
As the Labor Day Holiday weekend comes to an end, many traveled both on the road and in the air.
This year, nearly 117,000 people were expected to pass through the Sunport.
"I love air travel. It's one of the safest and easiest modes of transport still and very fluent," said Ishu Verma, who was traveling Monday. "Today was not that busy. I think a lot of people are coming back, just because you know the long weekend is already over. Denver was really busy. It's one of the busiest airports in the U.S."
Another man and his wife were traveling back home to New Mexico. Luckily for them, there were no delays or cancellations.
"The planning beforehand was a little bit hectic. I was expecting the whole thing to be a little bit. But to my surprise, everything went well," s
