SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Someone in Sherman Oaks is suddenly much richer!

Although there was no jackpot winner in Monday night's Powerball lottery , someone in Los Angeles won $1,378,451.

The ticket was sold at the 76 Station at 14478 Ventura Blvd. It matched all numbers except the Powerball number.

The winning numbers in the Labor Day multi-state Powerball lottery drawing are 8, 23, 25, 40, 53 and the Powerball number is 5 .

Since no tickets matched all six numbers, the jackpot for the next drawing on Wednesday rose to a staggering $1.3 billion.

Wednesday's jackpot ranks as the fifth largest in the Powerball game and the ninth largest among U.S. lottery jackpot games.
