Suspected thieves in Vacaville were seen on video making their escape Saturday.

Police said two people stole food from a supermarket and when employees confronted them, one suspect sprayed the employees with some kind of chemical.

Employees told police they recognized the pair from past thefts.

No word yet on any arrests.
