Oscar-nominated actor Graham Greene has died aged 73, his representatives have said.

His manager Gerry Jordan told CBC News the Canadian actor died of natural causes.

Greene's agent Michael Greene (no relation) told People the actor died "after a lengthy illness."

Who Is Graham Greene?

Canadian actor Greene played Kicking Bird in the 1990 Kevin Costner film Dances with Wolves. Greene's performance earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. His other credits include The Green Mile, Wind River and Maverick.

He was inducted into the Order of Canada, the country's second highest civilian honour, in 2016.
