Lug-sole boots may have been notably absent from the autumn/winter 2025 runway collections, as slouchy boots, skintight, fitted boots and buckled styles dominated the trend landscape, however that doesn’t mean they are redundant within your own wardrobe. In 2019 the runways were filled with chunky, stomping boots, with Prada’s Monolith boots and Bottega Veneta’s track Tire boots becoming street style staples. Unsurprisingly, this caused a tidal wave of chunky soles dupes to flood the high street for subsequent years.
