Mark D’Agostino attended the first two Maryland Cycling Classics in 2022 and 2023. The 67-year-old Towson resident and video producer for BGE intends to be there on Saturday, Sept. 6.
“It’s pretty hard to keep me from going,” said D’Agostino, who has logged a few thousand miles on his bike every week over the past 25 years. “If they’re going to ride, I’m out there.”
The 2025 Maryland Cycling Classic is the highest level road cycling race in the United States and is endorsed by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the sport’s world governing body that endorses, among others, the Tour de France. Thirty male and female professional teams from around the globe will make up the field, which will include several current and former national champions and Olympians.
