MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Business as usual — that's how things are going at the University of Memphis.

Early Sunday morning, Memphis Police responded to the campus following a threatening phone call at the McWherter Library. MPD is calling this a hoax, but students are still worried.

Students like Anna Gooden told FOX13 that they received no word of any threat. "It's scary. You know, I'm here to get my education, and I want to feel safe while doing so," Gooden said.

Gooden said there was only one thing slightly different on campus.

"I've been wondering why the doors aren't open, and I can assume it's from the threat this morning, but I do think it's important to keep the students updated," Gooden said.
