Neo-Nazi leader Thomas Sewell has been charged over his alleged involvement in an attack on a First Nations protest camp in Melbourne on Sunday.

Police were seen handcuffing the 32-year-old outside the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Tuesday afternoon and putting him into a police van, along with two other men.

He had earlier appeared in court charged with offences related to intimidating a police officer and breaching an intervention order in 2024.

On Tuesday night, Mr Sewell was charged with offences including violent disorder, affray, assault by kicking, and discharge missile.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Police also charged two other men, aged 23 and 20, who were arrested in relation to the matter on Tuesday.
