Wawa wants to build a store on a site along Route 73 that straddles the border between Berlin Township and Voorhees.
The approximately 6,000-square-foot convenience store and fueling station would rise along the northbound highway, just south of the Cooper Road intersection.
It's the second potential South Jersey project for Wawa, which has proposed a store and gas station for the site of a vacant Rite Aid in Wildwood.
A Wawa representative did not comment on the projects.
The Camden County project would be the third Wawa on a 2-mile stretch of Route 73 in the Berlin area.
A legacy Wawa is in a strip center along southbound 73 at Franklin Avenue in the township. A store with gas pumps operates along the northbound highway between Taunton Avenue and Jackson Road in Berlin Borough.
