Chloe Malle , the daughter of actor Candice Bergen and director Louis Malle, is the newly appointed head of editorial content of Vogue ‘s U.S. edition. She takes over the role from Anna Wintour, who stepped aside in June as the mag’s top editor after 37 years .

Condé Nast announced Malle’s new role at Vogue U.S. Tuesday. She reports to Wintour, chief content officer of Condé Nast and Vogue’s global editorial director. Malle, in a statement provided by Condé Nast, said she “feel[s] incredibly fortunate to still have Anna just down the hall as my mentor.”

Malle, 39, first joined Vogue in 2011 and most recently served as editor of the magazine’s website. In an interview with the New York Times published Tuesday, Malle said she is a “proud ‘nepo baby.’”
