The luxury residential real estate frenzy that accompanied the second Trump administration’s arrival has largely passed. Blame it on the summer doldrums, the economy or the fact that the uber wealthy have settled down by now, but the action has definitely slowed of late.
That’s not to say the market is frigid. Just two weeks ago we reported the most expensive sale ever in Northern Virginia for a home not on the Potomac River. July saw a $20 million D.C. sale. And you never know when Mark Zuckerberg will strike again.
