(WJW) - Hokus Pokus Live! is coming to Columbus and Pittsburgh this fall.

The "spellbinding theatrical production" is inspired by the 1993 Disney classic film, Hocus Pocus, and is set to perform in more than 30 cities starting Sept. 4 and running through Oct. 26.

The live performance was created and stars Ginger Minj, who played Drag Queen Winifred in Hocus Pocus 2.

According to a release, Hokus Pokus Live! is a "true love letter" to the classic film, inspired by Bette Midler who reportedly encouraged Minj on the set of “Hocus Pocus 2.”

As Ginger recalls, Midler told her, “I just really love the way that you do me. I would like to see you take this and run with it and turn it into something.”
