MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Karen Huger walked out of Montgomery County Detention Center onTuesday, more than six months after the Real Housewives of Potomac star began serving her sentence for a DUI conviction.

Huger, often referred to as the "Grande Dame" of Potomac, was supposed to serve one year.

A jury found Huger guilty of driving under the influence in December 2024. Police arrested her in March of that year after she was involved in a crash near Oaklyn Drive in Potomac.

In body-camera footage from the Montgomery County Department of Police, an officer explains that Huger’s Maserati crossed over the median and hit a pole before the Maserati crashed into a tree.
