A police pursuit of a woman, who was reported to be nude, ended in a standoff in the Westwood area Tuesday morning.

The woman was reported to be leaning out of the vehicle, a Ford Bronco, talking to officers with the Los Angeles Police Department.

NewsChopper4 was over the scene where the standoff was affecting traffic on Sepulveda Boulevard and Montana Avenue.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area.

According to LAPD, the incident began as some kind of disturbance where she was armed with a hammer or a machete.
