TYLER, Texas — The trial for the man accused of murdering a Tyler taqueria owner in a October 2024 shooting entered its fifth day of the trial on Tuesday.
Scotty Lee Goble, of Frost, is charged with murder in the death of Heriberto “Eddie” Ramirez Jr., 38, of Tyler. Ramirez, co-owner of Junior’s Taqueria, was shot in the restaurant’s parking lot on Oct. 11, 2024. Goble pleaded not guilty last week, with his attorneys arguing self-defense.
