President Trump is expected to announce today that Space Command – the much sought-after political football volleyed between Alabama and Colorado – is moving to Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal.

According to Politico, the Pentagon originally announced a link to the anticipated livestream with the caption “U.S. Space Command HQ announcement.” That was later changed to remove any mention of Space Command.

Trump has long championed Alabama’s claim to Space Command, with previous Air Force analysis selecting the Redstone Arsenal site over Colorado’s Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs.
