CLEVELAND, Oh - I joined an organization outside of work a few months ago and have become passionate about being a member. As part of it, I’ve met some people I feel a connection with. There is one woman I always sit with at meetings and events. We chat, laugh and have a good time. We’ve even planned to attend unrelated outings together. However, each time, she backs out at the last minute. She always has a good excuse and suggests getting together for wine or dinner. When I extend an invitation, she seems happy about it, but again cancels or declines at the last minute. This has been going on for a few months now.
