A family is dealing with overwhelming grief after a woman was killed in an apparent dog attack in Miami Gardens on Labor Day.

Doreen Broadbelt, 72, was walking to her job at Walmart on Monday morning when tragedy struck.

Miami Gardens Police found her suffering from multiple apparent dog bite injuries in the area of Northwest 14th Court and Northwest 196th Terrace.

The attack appeared so vicious that when fire rescue crews arrived, they said she had already passed away.
