Roughly 750 nurses and case workers at Henry Ford Health’s Genesys hospital remained on strike Tuesday after rejecting what their union describes as an "egregious" final contract offer.

The workers, represented by Teamsters Local 332, began picketing outside the Grand Blanc hospital at 8 a.m. Monday. Union leaders say the strike will continue until an agreement is reached that includes safe and improved working conditions.
