A man died after crashing a cement truck along Flour Bluff Drive the morning of Sept. 2.
Corpus Christi Police Department officers responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 3600 block of the drive near the intersection of Yorktown Boulevard. They arrived to find the cement truck lying on its side, according to Lt. Gabriel Garcia, who spoke during a news conference at the scene.
The vehicle hit a pole, nevertheless no other vehicles were involved, he said.
Officers are investigating and determining the cause of the crash, the lieutenant said.
Garcia confirmed that the cement truck was filled with cement at the time that it rolled over.
