It’s only a matter of time until you have to switch your clothes from summer to fall options. As you determine what tops to keep and what to donate, there’s one piece in particular that fashion stylists recommend always having on hand: a button-up shirt.

The top has already made its way into A-listers’ closets with Reese Witherspoon posting a video to Instagram in an Oxford shirt, which celebrity stylist Chaise Dennis previously told PEOPLE is a piece people should invest in for fall.
