Two men were arrested over the weekend in Port Huron after allegedly trying to meet who they thought was a 14-year-old girl for sex, police said.

Both suspects had been communicating online with a person known as Skeeter Jean, according to authorities.

Officials said the two men arranged to meet with Skeeter Jean in Port Huron and were confronted by a man with a camera crew when they arrived. They said one of the arrested men had a handgun on him, but did not have a valid license to carry a weapon.

Investigators said Skeeter Jean and his crew called police, who investigated the incidents and took the two suspects to the St. Clair County Jail.
