The AP Poll was released on Tuesday afternoon after a great first week of college football, and the Michigan Wolverines actually moved down from No. 14 to No. 15 after handling business at home against a spunky New Mexico program. However, the Wolverines moved up to No. 13 in the Coaches Poll.

Elsewhere around the Big Ten, Ohio State (No. 1) jumped fellow Big Ten opponent Penn State (No. 2) after its big home win against Texas. Oregon and Illinois handled business to jump to No. 6 and 11, respectively, and Indiana survived a close battle with Old Dominion to stay in the Top-25 at No. 23.

Other Big Ten teams to receive votes include USC and Nebraska.
