FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - Crews are on the scene of a truck fire on State Highway 37 in Franklin County.

According to an alert from the Franklin County Office of Emergency Management and Communications, this is between Yellowbanks Road and Commerce Lane in Benton.

They reported the truck on fire on the shoulder of the road just after noon on Tuesday, September 2.

They asked drivers to avoid the area and take alternate routes of travel.
