TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A 19-year-old was taken into custody following a shooting that left a woman injured, the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office announced.

Deangelo Rancher was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, shooting into an occupied vehicle and first-degree attempted assault. Rancher was taken into custody with not issued bond.

On Aug. 30, officers arrived to the 4500 block of 18th Avenue on reports of a shooting. A woman had suffered a non-life-threatening wound to her head. It was later determined that there was a large argument between two groups of people, and as one group was attempting to leave, their vehicle was surrounded and the vehicle was shot into multiple times.
