INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Colts cornerback Xavien Howard has spent more than a year itching for a chance to prove himself, to show Miami he still had plenty of good football left in him.
Howard’s first opportunity is going to come against his former team.
And from the sounds of new defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo’s interview Tuesday, the 32-year-old cornerback is likely going to play much more than a bit role in Sunday’s season opener against Dolphins burners Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
