POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - A southeast Missouri town has a new edition that is bringing the downtown community together.

A giant mural in Poplar Bluff features things that hold value to the community and showcases the highlights of the area.

We spoke with the director of downtown development, who shared how the mural has changed the city’s downtown for the better.

“Yes, we have seen a lot of people come down,” said Morgan McIntosh. “We have seen some engagement photos and things like that take place down here. Senior photos, which are really exciting. It just draws more people down here. It’s just another thing to get people downtown.”

The area used to be an old parking garage. The wall is what’s left after it was torn down.
