Real Housewives of Potomac reality TV star Karen Huger was released from jail on Tuesday, nearly six months after she was sentenced and six months earlier than she was scheduled to be released according to a representative with Montgomery County Detention Center.
Huger, 62, was released from Montgomery County Detention Center in Clarksburg on Tuesday morning for her March 2024 DUI and crash in Potomac. She was originally sentenced to two years in jail, with one year suspended, in February.
Huger, also known as “The Grand Dame of the Potomac,” was involved in a single-car crash in March 2024, where she totaled her 2017 Maserati after crossing a median. In the TV show Real Housewives of Potomac, Huger claimed she was attempting to avoid an oncoming vehicle after an emotional dinner
