On Tuesday morning, the Flames announced that Dave Lowry will be rejoining the club for a third time. Article content Article content
Lowry spent four seasons playing for the team, including three seasons (2000 to 2002) as captain. He also spent three seasons as an assistant coach with the Flames previously, from the start of 2009-10 to the end of 2011-12.
He’ll be stepping into an assistant coach role on Ryan Huska’s staff, with Brad Larsen not returning because of family reasons. Already on the staff are assistant coaches Trent Cull, Cail MacLean, Jamie Pringle (video) and goaltenders coach Jason LaBarbera.
