ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was arrested Tuesday in a shooting that killed two people on Christmas Eve in 2023.

Malcolm Stover, 33, was arrested in the shooting that happened on Dec. 24, 2023, in 2800 block of Sudman Way.

According to deputies, four men and one woman had been found shot at the home. One of the victims, 25-year-old Stephanie Diane Cortes, was pronounced dead at the scene while another victim, 21-year-old Torrance Jermaine Stover Jr., died after the shooting.

At the time, deputies said the victims’ injuries ranged from “stable to critical.”

The sheriff’s office did not release any more information about what led to the shooting, but investigators had previously said they believed the shooting was targeted.
