(NewsNation) — The government is uploading 34,000 pages of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation as lawmakers speak with Epstein's accusers in a closed-door meeting.
Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said that the collection of 34,000 pages is merely the start, with House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., saying, "We want those to be public as soon as possible, and then we're going to continue to bring in more people."
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., also spoke to the press following the House Oversight meeting with Epstein victims Tuesday.
"The victims themselves have stated this is a lot bigger than I think anyone anticipated," Luna said.
