Senator Cory Booker is officially planning to tie the knot — to a woman with an uncanny resemblance to his ex-girlfriend Rosario Dawson .

The New Jersey lawmaker took to social media Tuesday afternoon to announce his engagement to girlfriend Alexis Lewis .

In an Instagram post that included shots of the couple wearing leis in a tropical setting, Booker said he’s “savoring the soul-affirming wonder of everyday life with my partner, best friend, and now my fiancée.”

“Alexis is one of the greatest unearned blessings of my life,” he wrote. “She has transformed me, helping me to ground and center my inner life, and discover the joys of building a nurturing home with someone you love.”
