EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) – An Oklahoma parent has joined more than 800 other families, filing a lawsuit against a wildly popular gaming platform. Attorneys for the family filed the federal lawsuit against Roblox in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

"It's incredibly shocking, not only the sheer volume of cases, but the cases that have remarkably similar facts that Roblox was truly a hunting ground for child sex predators," said Steven Vanderporten, attorney with Stinar Gould Grieco and Hensley.

The suit centered around a 12-year-old girl, now 17, who was reportedly groomed by who she thought was a 15-year-old boy. It turned out to be a man in his 40s. He asked for her personal information and coerced her into sending sexually explicit pictures. "Robux, the
