The Pittsburgh Steelers have moved on from a former Super Bowl champion days before the start of the 2025 season.

Robert Woods was released from the Steelers’ practice squad on Tuesday. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the veteran wide receiver asked to be released and only wants to continue his career if there is a team that wants him on the 53-man roster.
