GREENVILLE, S.C. —
The South Carolina Department of Education celebrated gains on Tuesday in reading, writing and math performance through the SC READY, continuing the track to achieve a goal made by officials: having at least 75% of students performing at or above their grade level by 2030.
Across the Palmetto State, the percentage of meets/exceeds in ELA jumped to 59.6% compared to 53.5% in 2024. Math scores were at 43.9% compared to 42.3% the previous year. Latest Forecast
