LSU swimming and diving coaches allegedly bullied athletes

BATON ROUGE — For the past handful of seasons, members of the LSU swimming and diving team were subject to "bullying" and intimidation tactics, according to a report by Louisiana Illuminato r.

Per student-athlete exit interviews that the Louisiana Illuminator and Tiger Rag obtained through a public records request, there were multiple complaints logged about current LSU swimming and diving head coach Rick Bishop and former assistant coach Leah Stancil.

Universities and athletic departments are not required to record student-athlete exit interviews and over the course of the past five years, most sports at LSU have not notated them. It is unclear whether exit interviews were conducted at all for those sports.
