LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON — The names of two people involved in a plane crash in Little Cottonwood Canyon were released Tuesday by the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office.
At 5:21 p.m. Sunday, a small plane crashed in the Albion Basin area. Christopher Marx, 55, was killed. Alex Dulude, 40, was taken to University of Utah Hospital where he remained in critical condition on Tuesday, the sheriff's office said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
"The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are expected to complete their on-site investigation later today," the sheriff's office said Tuesday. "Once the FAA and NTSB are finished at the scene, the area will reopen to the public." ×
