PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Four people were arrested late Monday night after a reported shooting in Salem's Wallace Marine Park, authorities announced.

Salem Police Department said officers responded to several reports of gunfire, along with reports of four people being involved in a shooting and a female possibly being injured.

Officers canvassed the park and arrested four people on the pedestrian bridge – including three 17-year-old boys along with a 25-year-old man identified as Grant Pizzuto, according to Salem Police Department.

Authorities recovered a loaded .45 caliber handgun from one of the teens after a “brief struggle,” Salem police said, noting another teen had a backpack with a short-barreled rifle inside.
