Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda managed to score points at the Dutch Grand Prix, finishing in ninth place despite facing technical issues.
Team principal Laurent Mekies stated that Tsunoda's car had a glitch in its system, which limited his pace.
"We were locked into the wrong map after the final stop," team principal Laurent Mekies explained to Motorsport.com. "He basically drove the final part with a really, really not friendly throttle map."
Tsunoda had a limited throttle on lap 54 after entering the pit lane, and he did not manually change modes.
"Basically, when you are in the pit lane, you are changing maps. And if you don't change back, you are locked into it for the rest of the time. So that's what happened," Mekies added.
