SALT LAKE CITY – Police said two people were being treated at hospitals Tuesday morning after receiving reports of a stabbing in Draper.

Lt. Mike Elkins with the Draper Police Department said at approximately 8:48 a.m., officers responded to a report of a person with stab injuries at an apartment complex near 200 West 13490 South.

When police arrived, a “male and female” were reportedly found with injuries, and were both being treated at local hospitals. Police did not disclose the nature of their injuries.

“This incident is being investigated as a possible domestic violence situation,” Elkins said. “There are no outstanding suspects, and there is no threat to the public.

Police said the investigation was ongoing, and no further information was immediately available.
