ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — A suspect is in custody after a manhunt Tuesday that shut down part of Route 20 for several hours. The Albemarle County Police Department said the suspect took off in a stolen vehicle along with two others after a shots fired incident late Monday night.

Just after 10 a.m. Tuesday, police said they received reports of a suspect running down Route 20. Officers closed the roadway and began a search that lasted late into the afternoon.
