A decision on plans to expand the Bridlewood subdivision should be delayed until the developer addresses a series of concerns, Brockville council’s planning committee believes.

The planning committee on Tuesday backed city staff’s recommendation to hold off on the decision, which would see Bridlewood Drive extended all the way to Centennial Road, until the developer comes back with a redesign, and addresses concerns about such things as stormwater management.

The full council is expected to vote on the recommendation next Tuesday, although councillors are expecting the matter to come back for discussion in October or November.
