CHARLOTTE, NC — There are four days left to cast your early ballot for charlotte’s primary election.
More early voting sites opened up across the city on Tuesday, resulting in almost 2,500 ballots turned in, nearly doubling the turnout from all of last week.
Before Tuesday, the Hal Marshall location in uptown was the only early voting location open.

Michael Dickerson with Mecklenburg County Board of Elections tells WCCB they saw the best turnout in University City and SouthPark.
Dickerson believes this year’s mayoral race and the long list of at-large council candidates on the ballot could bring more people to the polls than primaries in past years.
