HIGHLAND, Wis. (WKOW) -- One person is in custody and a shelter in place order in the village of Highland has been lifted, according to Iowa County Emergency Management.

The order was issued around 8 p.m. Tuesday due to law enforcement activity on Isabell Court.

The order was lifted just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Iowa County Sheriff's Office said the subject was taken into custody with a peaceful resolution. The agency says it expects to release further information at a later time.
