It’s always a gamble to draft a rookie onto your NFL fantasy lineup, but in recent years, we’ve seen several breakout stars like Justin Jefferson (2020) and Ja’Marr Chase (2021) make an immediate impact.

Wide receivers are typically a strong bet. They have delivered elite fantasy production in recent years, with Jefferson and Chase being great examples. Puka Nacua entered his rookie season with an ADP of 293 overall in PPR league and ended the season as a top-five fantasy receiver.
