LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Tenants at Crossing at South Park began reporting mold to the city of Louisville in July. One unit was ordered to vacate over the issue as the resident was moving out.
"It wasn't just one building, it's all the buildings," former resident Ter'Drika Thomas said. "Paying $1,402 every month and then you turn around, you got mold."
She saw the mold growing around her dripping wet ceiling vent in July. When she moved out in August, she found mold growing out of an electrical outlet too.
"Had I not moved my bed," Thomas said, "I would have never even known that outlet looked like that. I could've died."
