At the Bethel AME Church in Jamaica Plain, incumbent Mayor Michelle Wu and two of her challengers — Josh Kraft and Domingos DaRosa — spoke about Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Roxbury. The candidates addressed long-standing concerns about the school's condition and reputation.

Wu pledged a massive investment.
"This will be more than a $700 million project," she said. "That is a big chunk of the city's capital budget, and we will need some supports to figure out how we get there, but we will get there." The field of mayoral candidates in Boston is about to be whittled down with the first round o
